Leap Motion
Leap Motion (now Ultraleap) is the world’s leading hand tracking technology for virtual and augmented reality.
As head of marketing and developer community, Alex helped set the vision and direction for Leap Motion's VR/AR go-to-market strategy, and oversaw the company's global developer partnerships and programs, marketing initiatives, web and developer experience, social media, and digital content. Alex was also instrumental in the company’s transition to Ultraleap (bringing together Leap Motion and Ultrahaptics).

Content
As head of digital content at Leap Motion, Alex coordinated hundreds of product and app launches, industry spotlights, infographics, development guides, and thought pieces on the future of virtual and augmented reality.

Global Partnerships
Over 6 years, Alex helped to grow the Leap Motion community to 800,000 users and 230,000 developers in 193 countries. Along the way he worked directly with developers and enterprise partners across fields including healthcare, security, enterprise, SaaS, automotive, data visualization, and retail/e-commerce.

Global Developer Competition
The Leap Motion 3D Jam was an annual developer competition with 3,000+ participants in 100+ countries. As head of digital content, Alex developed and executed strategy and logistics to bring the competition to life, resulting in over 10 million impressions.

Web
Alex led the design and development of multiple generations of Leap Motion’s web properties, including consumer, developer, blog, gallery, and community sites.

Explorations in VR
In 2014, Alex collaborated with bleeding-edge engineers, developers, and designers to produce the first fully comprehensive VR design guidelines of the third wave of VR. These were re-released as the Explorations in VR series.
