BRUINchain is a blockchain-based solution designed to track and trace drugs as they move through a pharmacy. Selected as part of the FDA’s DSCSA Pilot Project Program, it was tested at one of the busiest hospitals in the United States with real caregivers delivering critical life-saving medications to babies.
Working closely with the LedgerDomain team, we drove the release of a peer-reviewed paper and campaign to share the first study of its kind – revealing that blockchain would save the US pharmaceutical industry over $180 million each year, along with reducing counterfeits and hidden costs worth billions of dollars.
In partnership with the Clinical Supply Blockchain Working Group (CSBWG), the world's largest pharmaceutical blockchain consortium, LedgerDomain developed the world's first iOS blockchain app for the clinical supply chain. LedgerDomain is also partnering with UCLA on a pilot for the US FDA on a last-mile application that helps deliver lifesaving medications to babies.
On both of these initiatives, Farflung has developed written and video materials as well as led the way on conference and event logistics.
DocuSeal is a document verification tool that creates trust through the security and immutability of blockchain.
With DocuSeal, you can upload sealed documents into private storage. Each document has a unique hash that is immutably stored on the blockchain. When an authorized user retrieves the document, a hash check verifies its authenticity.
As marketing lead on the DocuSeal project, Alex built the app micro-site and work on white-label applications.
